MyFamilyAbroad SMS program
Our Customer Success team uses text messages for two-way conversations with the parents and legal guardians who hold a MyFamilyAbroad account and have opted in. We never send marketing or promotional content on this channel.
Opt in to text messages
Enter your email address and your mobile phone number, then tick the checkbox below to receive text messages from us.
The checkbox is never pre-checked and it is optional: you can use MyFamilyAbroad without ticking it. It is separate from any email or phone call consent.
The same checkbox is shown at the mobile phone number step when you create your account, after your email address has been verified.
What we send
Replies to the support questions you send us, confirmations and reminders of scheduled calls and appointments, reminders of onboarding or pre-departure documents that are still missing, and check-ins before, during and after a stay.
Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies with your account activity and your exchange. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.

Opting out
Reply STOP to any of our messages to unsubscribe. You will receive one final message confirming it, then no further messages from us. Reply START to resubscribe.
Privacy
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number is only used to contact you about your account and your family exchange.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
