This is not their first experience: their eldest son, Émile, has already taken part in several language exchanges that proved to be true turning points. Initially very introverted, Émile returned transformed, gaining solid speaking skills and an independence that helped him open up to others. Building on this first success, his parents are convinced of the benefits of immersion for Andéol. For him, replacing his 10th-grade internship with this stay is a unique opportunity to gain responsibility and maturity. The family sees this project as much more than just language learning; it is a real stepping stone toward independence and lasting open-mindedness—values they cultivate daily and are eager to see flourish in their second son.

Neena has research internship from 9 am to 3 pm during weekdays. We often spend our time together as a family with outings, celebrations, hobbies including taking day trips during the weekends. Molly, our pet dog, is 6 years old. She is an outdoor dog. Our family trip to Paris in March 2023 has inspired us to learn more about French Culture. Kushi is interested in learning French Language.

It is a truly beautiful place with beaches and mountains. The weather is warm and sunny most of the time. I am a former research biologist who has stayed home to care for our children. Witt has worked for a GIS company (mapping software) for 23 years. I take the summers off work to spend time with our girls. We are often out and about enjoying the beach, the zoo, a park, swimming, or at a museum with friends. On the weekends, we all like to do something active. Usually a bike ride, hike, or a walk. Or a beach day with friends, boogie boarding and frisbee. Witt and the girls go to a climbing gym (bouldering). I do pilates, yoga, and enjoy walking. We all enjoy cooking and good food is important in our family! We also like to relax at home with a good book, sit in the swing, BBQ, or watch a movie too. We usually plan a vacation in the summer. When we aren’t traveling internationally, we plan local trips. Last year, we went camping. Then another trip to Los Angeles to visit Hollywood, Universal Studios, and the La Brea Tar pits. We all had a great time, especially in Harry Potter’s world!
